There is an entry requirement of at least a 100km finish (or Arc50 finish) and considerable experience of night time running. If this is the case we will refund any monies paid in full.Īlthough it follows a way-marked route, this is a self-navigation event and ONLY suitable for experienced ultra-runners. We reserve the right to refuse an entry if we believe you do not have the right level of experience to compete in this event safely.
The event has been awarded 100K status towards UTMB qualification. Competitors will need the ability and experience of being self-sufficient for long periods of time in potentially extreme weather conditions. The race has a strict 15.5 hour cut-off with additional checkpoint and safety cut-offs on route. By passing Land’s End it will complete an Arc around the extreme south west tip of Cornwall. The Arc50 is a point-to-point race from The Minack Theatre, Porthcurno to Porthtowan taking in 50miles of stunning and dramatic Cornish coast-path. The extreme nature of this event means it has been awarded 100M status towards UTMB qualification. With checkpoints approximately 20 miles apart, competitors will need the ability to be self-sufficient for long periods of time. The race has a strict 36hour cut-off with additional checkpoint and safety cut-offs on route. The Arc of Attrition is a point-to-point race from Coverack to Porthtowan taking in 100miles of stunning and dramatic Cornish coast-path and will complete an Arc around the entire south west foot of Cornwall. The Arc of Attrition is an extreme winter 100mile footrace with competitors running in challenging winter conditions.
